Le Poggiòle comprises four tastefully decorated double bedrooms and two bathrooms for a total of nine guests. As tribute to Giovanni Boccaccio (1313-1375), the great Italian writer and poet of the 13th century born in the nearby Certaldo, the names of our rooms were inspired by four female characters who appear in his novels of “The Dacameron”, e.g. Fiammetta, Caterina, Emilia and Dianora. All our bedrooms feature “Cotto” brick floors and beamed/wooden ceilings
